Latymer All Saints is a school whose motto ‘We Care’ is at the centre of everything we do. Our Christian ethos is a strength of the school, and it was recognised in our Anglican Schools Inspection (2015) that ‘Leaders and Governors have a clear Christian vision for the school and have developed and nurtured a school community that is loving, aspirational and which places service of God and others at its heart’.
We are a multi-cultural and multi-faith school, and enjoy exploring our differences while celebrating our shared values of Love, Aspiration and Service. We take pride in our many achievements.
Awards we have received include:
- Intermediate International Award, reflecting our global links with schools in France;
- Go4It Award, in recognition of the many opportunities our children have to attend lunchtime and after school clubs, and the creative curriculum opportunities we provide for our children;
- Primary Science Gold Quality Mark;
- Gold Award for Sustainable Travel.
Our children work hard and do well academically, supported by our very committed staff; we provide opportunities for children to develop their independence in 3 residential trips a year, for Years 2 and 6 in England and Year 5 to France.
We have a rich array of musical opportunities for children: our choir sings in public, and for the local residential home; each year our Year 4 children learn to play the violin, and many of our children take individual instrumental lessons during the school day. We look forward to our end of term concerts, when children can showcase their talents. Our ‘Latymer’s Got Talent’ show at the end of each school year is a popular event for children, staff and parents to share their talents.
We have a history of success at the borough District Sports event each Summer, with some children going on to develop their sporting skills at club level.
Our children are well behaved, prompting positive comments from visitors, and enjoy school; attendance is always at or above national levels. We believe in encouraging responsible, self-confident, articulate young people who are ready and willing to ‘have a go’ at whatever opportunities life opens up for them.
Latymer All Saints provides the support children need for their spiritual, moral, social, academic and physical development.
We hope you enjoy your visit to our website, and finding out more about us.
