Parent support

 Latymer all Saints Parent Support

I am Mrs Sonia Ogundana the Parent Support Advisor at Latymer All Saints Primary School. It is my aim to show non-judgemental care and support to all our families that require my assistance. This support can be in the form of: – Housing advice, Immigration signposting, welfare concerns, paying for school trips or uniform, transition and admission enquires. I arrange ESOL, literacy and maths courses, coffee mornings and parenting programmes. I also organise the parent’s prayer group that meets once a month. I can be contacted through the school office at any time during school hours and I can often be found in the playground at the beginning and end of the school day.

Parent Workshops

We are fully committed to working with parents and throughout the year we offer a range of workshops which aim to help parents and carers to become familiar with the school curriculum and enable them to support and help their children with more confidence.

Parent workshops have been very well attended and many of the children from families who have taken part have made accelerated progress.

Parent feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

Sometimes it can be difficult to know where to turn for help when families face challenging times with their children. The link below will open the Enfield Community Handbook which gives advice and guidance about children and young people and contains the contact details of many organisations that can help in times of need.
