Welcome to Year 2! This year we have a rich and challenging curriculum for our Year 2 pupils, designed to help all children access all subjects and give opportunities for children to extend their knowledge in dynamic and creative ways. Year 2 will be incorporating many of the aspects of the new curriculum which has recently been updated to give children the relevant skills they will need as they progress.
In Year 2 children will be assessed using the levelling system as used in previous years. Preparation for this is on-going and a final SATS assessment will be taken in the summer term.
